What is tree & palm transplanting?
Transplanting means digging a tree or palm with enough of its root ball intact, lifting it, and setting it into a prepared hole at the new location.
Do I need it?
If a mature tree or palm is in the way of construction, too close to a structure, or you simply want it somewhere else, moving it is often possible.

What determines cost?
We don't publish prices we can't stand behind. These are the things that move the number:
- Size and type of the tree or palm
- Root ball size required
- Access at both locations
- Distance being moved
- Ground conditions at both ends
Before we arrive
- Mark exactly where the tree is going
- Clear access between both locations
- Point out buried lines and irrigation at both ends

- Will the tree survive being moved?
- We can't promise that — survival depends on the species, the season, the root ball and the aftercare. We'll tell you honestly how a particular tree looks before we start.
- How big a tree can you move?
- Send a photo with something for scale and we'll tell you whether we have the equipment for it.
