What is ponds & water features?
Pond work is large-volume excavation with shaping — digging the basin, sloping the banks, and placing the spoil somewhere useful on the property or hauling it away.
Do I need it?
If you want water storage for livestock, irrigation or the look of it, or your existing pond has filled with silt and no longer holds what it used to, this is the work.
Signs you may need this

What determines cost?
We don't publish prices we can't stand behind. These are the things that move the number:
- Surface area and depth
- Total volume of material moved
- Soil type and groundwater
- Where the spoil goes
- Access for equipment

- Point out property lines, wells and buried lines
- Let us know about any drainage feeding the area
Common questions

- Can you clean out an existing pond?
- Yes — silted-in ponds can usually be dug back out and reshaped. Send photos of the pond as it is now.
- Will the pond hold water?
- That depends on the soil on your property, so it's not something we can promise from photos. We'll tell you honestly what we see when we walk it.
